Cantagallo ist ein Gypsy-Jazz-Trio aus München, bestehend aus Saschmo Bibergeil (Gitarre), Fernando Rosmarin (Gitarre) und Juergen Reiter (Kontrabass).
Die drei Musiker verbinden den Geist des Jazz Manouche der späten 1920er Jahre mit zeitgenössischen Jazz- und Blues-Einflüssen.
Ihr Sound ist handgemacht, direkt und energiegeladen – mal rhythmisch treibend, mal lyrisch und warm, mal rau und pulsierend.

Cantagallo schafft auf der Bühne eine Atmosphäre, die an die Pariser Cafés der 30er Jahreerinnert: intim, virtuos und voller Spielfreude.

At the heart of Cantagallos sound is the legendary acoustic guitar style perfected by the great Django Reinhardt. The band is distinguished by its driving rhythm guitar, featuring the classic "la pompe" strumming pattern — a hallmark of Jazz Manouche.
